Queenstown Ecotourism– For a Greener and More Invigorating Tomorrow

Its location just below Australia, surrounded by the chilly waves of the Pacific Ocean and Tasman Sea gives the air of New Zealand a perpetual freshness. The dew drops on the grass blades and twinkle when the sun’s rays extend themselves mildly to that part of the earth and the occasional chirping of birds is more musical than the sounds of Chopin.

The South Western nature capital of Queenstown is no exception to this wondrous splendour of nature.  In the days of yore the exquisite greenstone of Queenstown attracted the indigenous inhabitants of New Zealand to it. Over the years Queenstown’s strengths of inducement have grown by leaps and bounds. Today, it is visited by people from the North Pole to the South Pole allured by the prospects of outdoor activities, relaxing spas and gold mines.

For the adventurous sort there is paragliding, bungee jumping, skiing, jet boating, snowboarding and sky diving. The weather is supportive of all these activities throughout the year, except for the ice sports which are confined to the winter months of the year. On the other hand, a relaxing cruise along the still waters of a lake, even overnight or a soothing massage at a spa would put a halt to the frantic rushes of adrenaline.

The alpine terrain with the glistening waters of Lake Wakatipu at its foot looks calm and quiet at first glance. However, the area has been transformed into an adventurer’s paradise, with some of the most spine tinkling and hair raising events being facilitated in those same waters and mountains.

This is one place on earth where man will be brought as close as possible to nature. Every measure is taken to preserve the bountiful greenery, fresh air and unsullied environment, for an equally green and glorious tomorrow. It is not surprising that the town draws almost two million visitors annually to its charming enclave.

Find that the accommodation Queenstown New Zealand perfectly complements the air and ambience of the area. From the gourmet and facilities to the warmth of the staff, many Queenstown hotel accommodation options grant its guests reasons to be delighted. The Copthorne Hotel and Apartments
